Change of address, family situation or bank account number (as non-resident)

You are a non-resident and your address, family situation (civil status) or bank account number has changed? Depending on your situation, the steps to be taken are different.

Reporting a change of address or family situation (as a non-resident)

You are residing in Belgium

You must report this change to the municipality in which you reside. Your information will automatically be adapted in our systems after a few days.

However, we prepare the sending of return forms several weeks in advance.  If we do not receive information in due time, it is possible you will receive your return to your former address or that your partner will not be mentioned correctly in the return.

You are residing abroad and you are a Belgian citizen

You must report the change to the Belgian consulate or embassy of the country you are residing in. Your information will automatically be adapted in our systems after a few days.

However, we prepare the sending of return forms several weeks in advance. If we do not receive information in due time, it is possible you will receive your return to your former address or that your partner will not be mentioned correctly in the return.

You are residing abroad and you are not a Belgian citizen

You must provide a document proving your change of address or situation

The type of document depends on the country in which the change of address or situation took place:

In some cases, we ask for a certified copy of this document. This copy must be recent (6 months at the most).

Mention your reference on the document and get it translated if necessary

You (and/or your partner) have a Belgian "national registration number" or a Belgian "bis number"? Mention it on the document. You will find this number on your Belgian identity document (identity card, residence permit,…) or on your Belgian income sheets (in some cases).

This document must be written in French, Dutch, German or English. If the document has been drawn up in another language, it must be translated by a sworn translator.

Send the document by mail

SPF Finances - Centre P Bruxelles INR - Gestion
Avenue Prince de Liège 133 bte 516
5100 Namur

We will then adapt your file

If we do not receive information in due time, it is possible you will receive your return to your former address or that your partner will not be mentioned correctly in the return.
